THE DRACHENMOOR STORY 

Once upon a time, an ordinary man had an extraordinary vision.  He imagined giving Halloween enthusiasts an opportunity to enjoy a spooky, creepy, fun Halloween, minus terror, gore, and jump-scares.  Daniel Goeppert (aka:  Dan the Wizard Man)’s edgy imagination and artistic ability brought his vision to life in a Halloween village he calls Drachenmoor.  

Dan created his first beloved creatures in early 2000’s, and they still welcome Halloween guests to visit them along the Drachenmoor Trail in the evenings, beginning two weeks before Halloween. Fun Fact:  Grandparents now bring their grandchildren to meet the Drachenmoor creatures whom they met when they were children!  

Drachenmoor has a rich history that was initially passed down through the verbal tradition, until 2019, when Gail Roberson and Gabby Goepfert brought the stories to print. Now, Dan the Wizard Man’s magical creatures can live on between the covers of the Drachenmoor book series that not only tells their stories, but also points the way to working out life’s problems.

Drachenmoor is open 2 weeks before Halloween and like “magic”, it disappears at midnight on Halloween night.  Admission is free.  You are invited to come enjoy a spooky, creepy, and fun Halloween with Dan the Wizard Man and his magical creatures!
